The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
